Affiliate sales
Affiliate sales are a great way to make money. There are several great sites that organize a collection of merchants for you to pick and choose from. The big ones listed below are more reliable when it comes to paying you on time. Some sites don’t pay for 60 or 90 days. Although this can be common in the beginning of your relationship with them until your account is setup and you have money coming to you, be sure that your merchant pays monthly. After all the longer you have to wait on your earnings, the longer you don’t have the money to re-invest. Some of these sites don’t offer many merchants to choose from or have unreliable merchants. Small time merchants can close shop at anytime leaving you unpaid. If affiliating with a merchant directly, always pick a trusted name like Amazon, etc. Again small time merchants can disappear after you spend time and money promoting them.
Here are some links to the “big boys” in affiliate marketing. I use all of these.
Get Rich Quick Scams!
Let’s face it; there are a lot of get rich quick scams out there. I do not know anyone who ever made millions in a very short time. I must admit that I do know people that have learned to make a comfortable living on the internet. I myself have managed to quit my job and make a very comfortable living.
A lot of
these get rich quick scams will promise you wealth so great that you can quit your job and sit
around your new mansion on your own island sipping Margaritas! They will even
show you tons of “testimonials” from “real” people that have made it rich using
their system. They will tell you how they made thousands of dollars a week in
the first few weeks and now they average around $25,000 a month or more! Right
about know your common sense is trying to slap you back into reality when you
suddenly see the “money back guarantee!” How can you lose?! It must be real,
right? Yeah, it’s real alright, a real scam!
I’ll let you
in on a little secret which is the foundation of a lot of these scams.
Affiliate marketing. A lot of these get rich quick scams write an extremely long e-book, that
you purchase, which explains how to make money in affiliate marketing. The
bottom line is that they are getting rich from selling a lot of e-books on how
to get rich!
If you wonder
what affiliate marketing is, check out my
free step by step guide to making money on the
internet. It will explain how affiliate marketing
works and how you too can be an affiliate marketer and make money on the
internet. I give this to you absolutely FREE! No strings attached. So don’t get
scammed paying someone for knowledge that is available for free.
People ask me
why I give this info away for free. I have to admit to being scammed into the
dream of financial freedom. Sounds great right? Well after buying quite a few
e-books I learned the hard way that there is no easy, quick way to make money,
unless you’re an immoral thief and scam artist! So if I give away their secret,
then I spoil their scam!
Home Business E-books
There are a lot of e-books out there that are true scams! There is nothing more disappointing than purchasing an e-book to find out that the information is vague, confusing or just plain wrong! Lets face it, everyone wants to write a quick e-book and sell it. The problem is knowledge. A lot of these e-books are written with very little knowledge of the subject or they are written with knowledge of the subject that is just to much and to confusing. Nobody really wants to sit at there computer and read a 1000 page e-book. And printing it is out of the question! The truth behind most business e-books is that the author will tell you enough to get started but not enough to prosper. After all you will become their competitor. Just remember selling e-books on how to succeed in business is a business in itself. So buy e-books you have heard of or that claim to do what you want it to. The more knowledge you gain, the more likely you are to succeed. Don’t believe that just one e-book will teach you everything. Buy several on the same subject and you will see that one will tell you things the others don’t. This will help you put together the knowledge you truly need to succeed.
Below are some e-books that are full of real knowledge gained from real experience.

Paid survey and shopping scams
There are an abundance of these opportunities out there. Beware of those that do not offer a money back guarantee. Any legitimate site should have a money back guarantee. Try staying with sites that are referred to you by a trusted site or someone you know that has used it. Some survey/shopping sites give you access to old lists of sources or closed sites. Make sure the survey/shopping site you are interested in offers current lists and updates often to give you the best opportunities to make money.
Do NOT go into a paid shopping or survey program with the hopes of making it a full time job! It is great for part time money but will NOT support you on a full time basis. Go into these opportunities as if it was a part time job and you will not be disappointed. I also do several surveys a week to help boost my income. If you are ambitious you could do several of these “part time” opportunities for a full time income.

Paypal scams
Some people who are new in the internet business world don’t know about Paypal scams. Paypal is a great and very secure way of sending and receiving money. You will need a Paypal account sooner or later if you plan on doing business on the internet. Once you have set up an account you must never send any account information in response to an e-mail that looks like it is from Paypal. The scammers send out e-mails to everyone saying something to the fact that your account needs to be updated or for security reasons you need to click on the enclosed Paypal link and re-enter your information. Some times they say that your account has been hacked or that there is suspicious activity and you should log in and verify that your account has not been tampered with. THIS LINK IS A FAKE! It will redirect you to another site that looks like Paypal and take your account log-in information for the purpose of ripping you off! Paypal will never send you an e-mail requesting any information. If they need any info or want to inform you of anything they will do so after you log in to their site.
Below is a link to set up an account at the “real” Paypal . Don’t worry, this is not a scam. Since you don’t have an account already set up. There is nothing to worry about.
Possible future scams
Just As I told you about the Paypal scam above, this scam method could work for Google adwords, Google adsense, Overture search marketing or any other accounts you may have. I have seen people getting these in reference to their bank accounts!
Just remember, No intelligent merchant for which you may have an account with would ever ask you to log in or resubmit your info via a link they sent you in an email! If you ever seriously question an e-mail, do not click on the link they provide you in their e-mail, instead open your browser and manually type their web page and log in like normal. If there are any questions or concerns on the merchants mind, you will find them there. If everything on your account seems fine, then the e-mail you received is likely a scam! Kudos to you for catching it and not getting scammed!
More scams reveal coming soon! in the mean time check out some of my other pages of scams by using the links at the bottom of the page.
